At the end of March we had 3 Explorers in Bedhampton receive their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award. Well done to them.

Earlier in the month the Group held its Annual “Quacking” Duck Race. Fortunately although it was a fast race it wasn’t quite as fast as last year when the Duck Collectors had to contend with a record surge from the “Beast from the East”. Photos and the full results can be found on our website at www.1stbedhampton.co.uk Thanks to everyone who supported.

The Scouts tried Brazilian Jui (Some kind of Martial Arts) with the held of our Bedhampton Scouts Special Forces and earlier in the month the Beavers joined the Cubs for a Pack cake party.

We are still looking for more help in our Beaver Scout section so please contact me if there is anyone willing to help. It can be flexible and does not need to be every week.

Scout Group Administrator and Assistant Cub Scout Leader.

The Duck Race 2019. They are off!

A great morning had by all with tea and burgers and of course the Race itself. Thank you to all the volunteers and everyone who contributed to raise much needed funds for the Scouts.

The Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts and Explorer Scouts all did archery early this month. The Scouts missed out as they were busy “Doing Drugs with the Police”. They Scouts have also rescued a Princess. The Princess has since been rescued from the Scouts!

The Cubs had a “skills camp” where they earnt the Cub Science badge, did outdoor and home skills and skilfully shot each other with laser guns at night.

We are now building up towards our Duck Race on 23rd March, the Easter Hikes and St Georges Day straight after Easter.
